Afghan Warhol

Afghan Warhol mural

Guilford College Community and Hannah Swenson, Courtney Mandeville and Layth Awartani

Greensboro, NC

Inspired by the techniques used in pop art, we designed a mural illustrating two Afghan lives being devastated by violence. Every day these types of stories flash through the news and into oblivion. Meanwhile, war still continues to threaten the well-being, rights and safety of hundreds of thousands of innocent Afghan citizens. It cannot be ignored.
