A Trace of Hope

Maribo

Maribo

Paris, France

Biography:

For Maribo, the sister of twins Claire-Helene Martin and Elise Bonail, this work follows on from her previous experience in monumental mural art, and also allows her to show her passion for plastic art.  She explores the use of paper, plastic, fabric, leather, wood, and metal. Fascinated by different materials and the mixing of world cultures, she cuts clothes, creates jewelry, designs furniture, draws, paints, engraves, sculpts, and decorates spaces for private clients. To achieve balance in her work, she constantly moves between the precise stroke of pencil or ink and the fluidity of colour or abstract design.
